Image Analysis
In this picture the theme ‘texture’ has been shown clearly. What makes this picture interesting, is her use of camera techniques; the small depth of field and the positioning of the camera to take the picture. The camera is positioned at a close up angle to the subject. The low angle makes it seem larger than reality. The angling and positioning of the camera make the picture more effective, the camera starts closer up and the area of the subject increases as the image fades out. The main focal point of the image is the rusted surface which gradually fades out to the less rusted area. The rusted surface creates an effective focal point because of the different tones and textures of the rust, the rust has a blend of oranges and browns.
